ZERO follows a father through their apartment as they make their way to the kitchen. Before making a piece of toast, he opens his child’s computer to discover a “0” on an assignment. Furious, the father lashes out his anger in the process of making his toast. This culminates in him seemingly preparing to harm a small dog with a butter knife. The ending is abrupt and leaves the audience with a sense of unease.
